These people have been at this a long time and it is no accident that they pulled this now. So complete is there indoctrination of all aspects of society that it shocks me. A student of mine today has shocked me even further. The class is a “Medical Discussion” class in which we discuss mainly public health issues. All of my current students are first year medical students. One of these is a non traditional student who is returning to school and is a licensed pharmacist who worked for a pharmaceutical company. Last week we talked about the upcoming merger of Japan’s “My Number” system with the national health care scheme. The Pharmacist is all for this despite all the possibilities for misuse and abuse, and data leaks. To her, the “convenience” outweighs all else. I usually do not assign topics. After last class was an exception. Given what was brought up in the discussion, I assigned my class to prepare to discuss China’s social credit system and see if Japan or anywhere else has such a system.
While the younger students, 18 to early 20s, did not like the idea of a social credit system, the pharmacist was again all for it. All, including her, agreed that Japan did not have such a system. I told that yes Japan does and that it is shared by most of the World, the ESG system. Again, the pharma student was all for this system too but she refused to discuss it as she did not what to hear anything contradicting her. She flatly stated that the idea that businesses are in business solely to earn money was the the PAST and that businesses should be compelled to contribute to society.
I have had hints of this already being set in stone in another corporate entity, a certain US arms firm operation in Japan. One of my now former friends has given hints that it this corp. is all onboard with the ESG movement. That was in ‘18 or so. PF, the drug pusher, is all onboard. They donated to BLM and “suggested” its employees in Japan do the same, would match funds if they did.
All this is far more advanced in its implementation that must understand. The more I learn, the more I understand that it is much later than we, including myself, know.
That's why all the totally unpopular policies continue, rolling ahead like a runaway train.
The politicos, the bureaucrats simply no longer have to care here in the US, "The State" backs them totally, with the force of every single alphabet soup agency. It is extraordinary.
